What to Expect
Welcome to Mission Hill Church, located in Chambersburg, PA. Our mission is to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. Here, we believe in creating a community where everyone is welcome, and everyone has a purpose. We believe that the Church meets both as the gathered and scattered people of God. Our Gospel Communities are the Church scattered and our Sunday morning services are the Church gathered.
At both our 9AM & 10:40AM services, you’ll notice the Gospel is at the heart of all we do. We believe that God is more concerned with our hearts as we come before Him rather than our outward appearance. From worship, to preaching, to serving, we have a high view of Scripture and we’re committed to teaching and applying it to our lives.
During service, we begin with worship before releasing kids (up to 5th grade) to Kids church. During Kids Church, kids will interact with the Gospel through various mediums such as play, music, and art. The Gospel is at the center of our kids program, with age-appropriate retellings walking kids through Scripture.
During the sermon, you will hear the Word preached as we all, pastors and congregants, seek to be more like Christ in every square inch of our lives. You’ll often find Sermon Booklets in the lobby to help you take notes as we study God’s Word, book by book.
At the end of service, we invite parents to pick up their kids in Kids Church classrooms before hanging out and chatting in the Sanctuary or lobby.
